El Poeta de la Rumba. Mario “Mayito” Rivera is without a doubt one of Cuba's most notable singers. He spent more than 20 years as the characteristic voice and face of the extremely successful Cuban band, Los Van Van.

Su inclinación a la música fue desde muy niña. Fue ex-integrante de “NG la Banda” y compartio escenario con Peruchin, Feliciano Arango, Emilio Vega, Miguel Ángel y muchos mas. En el 2001 le propone Juan Formell entrar a Los Van Van. Diez años lleva Jenny en Los Van Van dando lo mejor de si y tratando de no defraudar a los que hace mas de 40 arrancaron la maquinaria de este tren que para orgullo de todos los cubanos se llama Van Van.
